NAPPYWOOD® is a one-of-a-kind conference for hair & beauty professionals and natural enthusiast that celebrates the legacy, culture and history of Afro hair care. The impact of early Black hair care liberated communities of color and evolved to a multi billion dollar industry worldwide. Our mission is to provide a platform for all professionals; Locticians, Braiders, Barbers and Licensed Cosmetologist who work with texture hair to unite, network and learn about the latest industry trends and changing laws. Together, we can make a difference and help our community stay informed and empowered.

2023 NAPPYWOOD® Our 10 YEAR Celebration will be in collaboration with N THE CHAIR and DESIGN CORNER. This event of Barbers and Natural Hair Stylists, Locticians, Cosmetologist and Students will be the first professional Hair Show of its kind focused on 'Texture and Beauty' with select educational workshops for industry professionals only.

This event is designed to be a platform for innovation, creativity, and education in all aspects of the beauty industry. We offer a range of activities, from Barber & Hair Competitions, workshops, hair demos and tips to panel discussions aimed to inspire and empower our attendees.

Our event will feature over 100 vendors offering products, services, and inspiration. Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive space for all hair & beauty enthusiasts to come together and share experiences. NAPPYWOOD® will give you the opportunity to learn new techniques and meet the industry’s most innovative minds. Skills to take your business to the NEXT LEVEL.
