The ministry of  Memories  asked Nappywood to curate a BLACK HAIR EXHIBIT. The multi-media exhibit  spans from ancient Kemet, the middle passage to The Crown Act; featuring  books, powerpoints, films,  hands on hair memorabilia and photos.  The Oscar winning short animation, "Hair Love Movie" and Pan African Film Festival past documentary winner "My Nappy ROOTS" screens throughout the exhibit.

2nd Baptist Church was the church home of Dr Marting Luther King , Mayor Tom Bradley and many other Los Angeles Black leaders.  The church is currently  celebrating 134 years in 2020 . Please visit
